A Lancaster businessman who is boasting a 25 per cent increase in his monthly turnover has immediately revealed the secret of his success - a £75,000 refurbishment of his premises.
Pete Nevison, the owner of HiQ in Scotforth Road, recently completed a full rebrand of his centre and has seen the business go from strength to strength as a result.
The £75,000 investment has included a new depot, forecourt and reception.
Money has also been spent to provide customers with the latest automotive equipment available to reflect the company's commitment to position themselves as leading competitors in the fast-fit industry.
Franchisee and owner of the HiQ Lancaster centre, Mr Nevison said: "It is great to see the business doing so well. A 25 per cent increase in turnover is more than we anticipated and is in part owed to the rebranding of the centre.
"The centre itself is now a modern, fully-equipped garage that reflects our dedication to serve our local customers whatever their reason for visiting.
The good news in Lancaster has been replicated nationally for HiQ, which has boasted a series of impressive quarter one results.
Total gross profit for the opening quarter rose to 9.9 per cent compared to the same period in 2009.
Total tyre sales grew to 5.4 per cent while total footfall increased by 8.6 per cent in a set of impressive figures for the fast fit car care brand.
