And the Winner is…

HiQ has certainly made a bit of a stir in the last few years and it's good to know that it hasn't gone unnoticed. We're proud to have picked up more than a few gongs, for everything from our innovative centres and marketing support to our website and the interior of our centres.

HiQ Centre Awards 2011

At HiQ, we congratulate the centres who we recognise deliver excellence in service and standards on a daily basis. Since day one, our aim has always been to drive standards and uniformity across the network to position HiQ a category leader in fast fit. We pride ourselves in our transparency to you, the consumer, and we have heavily invested in customer service initiatives to create a compelling retail experience on a par with many high street brands.

Tyre Retailer of the Year 2011

HiQ Plymouth

Our biggest success story of 2011 was announced at the National Tyre Distributor's association Tyre and Fast Fit Awards when HiQ Plymouth was announced 'Tyre Retailer of the Year.'

With every well-known garage brand entering, we were proud to have three of our centres in the top five shortlist. It gives us the confidence to keep delivering and the belief that no other garage can compete to our standards.

The award was judged on the centre's outstanding efforts in customer service and congratulations must go to Bob Saunders and the team at Plymouth for outshining the competition and delivering a memorable retail experience worthy of winning.

Bob said: "We take pride in the fact we recognise good customer service and we work hard to ensure our standards are maintained to the highest possible level, every day. To be officially recognised for this is a superb reward."

Congratulations to HiQ Crewe and HiQ Helston for making the final shortlist for 'Tyre Retailer of the Year.' It goes without saying this was a fantastic achievement and demonstrates all of the hard work we undertake to make sure the HiQ fast fit experience is like no other. Well done to owners Andy Bucknell and Justin Roberton.

Just a few of the initiatives we have in place are our customer service surveys, mystery shopping exercises and our online ratings and recommendation tool. We also train our technicians through the HiQ Academy and our ATA qualification to give you peace of mind that we can do the job properly.

The HiQ centre awards prove that everything we are doing is working and that our centres are committed to delivering 'a fast fit you can be sure of' without compromise.

HiQ Customer Service Excellence Awards 2011

Based on customer satisfaction and recommendation levels, the HiQ customer service excellence awards are set up internally to recognise the centres that have scored consistently high within the year. 2011 saw three standout winners – HiQ Plymouth, HiQ Abingdon and the overall 2011 Winner Justin Roberton Limited, our Cornish franchise made up of four centres: HiQ Helston, HiQ Truro, HiQ St Austell and HiQ Bodmin.

Justin Roberton said: "Winning this award and being recognised for our efforts in customer care is fantastic."

Phil Godfrey of HiQ Abingdon said: "We work hard to exceed customer expectations and pride ourselves on going the extra mile for every motorist who visits us."

HiQ Franchise 2010 Awards

In 2010, we congratulated the business owners that outperformed the market despite difficult economic trading conditions with impressive profit figures and growth.

HiQ Sunderland was named centre of the year after creating an open, honest environment for motorists which led to impressive customer recommendation levels and increased footfall.

Owner Ali McGill said: "I'm absolutely delighted for the team. It is testament to the work of Chris and all the staff for driving better standards and creating a professional, inviting retail experience.

Peter Nevinson was applauded for winning franchise business of the year with his centres HiQ Lancaster, HiQ Keswick and HiQ Workington. The franchise P & R Autocentres had recorded fantastic turnover and profitability and the team was praised for their continuing hard work.

Peter said: I am so delighted to have won this award. I'd have to put it all down to the excellent team I have around me, and a lot of hard work!

"I don't think there is a secret as such. It is just about giving the best customer service that you possibly can. This then builds a reputation around the area and attracts people to come back here."

HiQ Erdington and HiQ Lanark were named outstanding businesses for their commitment to exceeding customer expectations.

And Justin Roberton and Gary Thomson were praised for the successes of their franchises in the South West, Justin Roberton Ltd and S W Tyres Ltd.

HiQ retail director, Craig Sprigmore, said: "It is important to recognise the businesses that are really excelling and driving our brand forward by increasing standards and performance across all areas."
